Colton James, a singer-songwriter hailing from Oregonia, Ohio, draws inspiration from his upbringing in a small town nestled along the Little Miami River. Through his country folk originals, he vividly portrays the experiences of growing up along the river, spanning from Oregonia to now living in Loveland, Ohio. As a proud father of two boys, his lyrics often paint the picture of his beautiful family, which he credits to his beautiful wife. Embracing a sober lifestyle, Colton openly shares the challenges he faced during his past struggles with drugs and alcohol. Whether strumming for the natural beauty of the river or captivating audiences across Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana, Colton’s music is a heartfelt reflection of his deep connection to both music and family.

Writing

Colton is constantly writing new originals to perform during his live shows. With over 40 originals in the works, 8 have been recently recorded and will be released this coming May!

Booking

Colton James plays over 20 shows a month, and is available seven days a week.
Playing majority of his shows in the Tri-State area (Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana), he is always looking for the opportunity to travel!

Style

Colton has focused on writing storytelling originals, with the beautiful sound of a Martin HD-28 to compliment. Through is writing and his playing, you hear a country and folk musician molded by influences of good ol’ rock ’n roll.
